The Japan Chitin and Chitosan Society aims to promote research on chitin, chitosan, and their derivatives, and to contribute to the advancement of this research field through the active exchange of knowledge.As of September 2025, the Society’s secretariat has been closed. Going forward, the officers of the Society will share the administrative duties. For the time being, please contact the President of the Society through a nearby member.
In addition, a new official website of the Society has been launched in 2026.
